■The deadlines for application

The deadlines for processing JMB DIAMOND Award Tickets will be as follows:
+For members in American Region:

12:00 noon pacific time (requests made in North America) or Sao Paulo local time (requests made in South America), 4 days prior to departure*1*2
[Domestic flights]
4 days prior to departure*1*2
(Deadline for application on through JAL website is 23:59 Los Angeles time, 4 days prior to departure*1)

• *1 Excluding the departure date
• *2 If the deadline is a Saturday, Sunday, or U.S. Holiday falls within the 4 days prior to departure, the deadline for processing will be 5 days prior to departure.

+For members in Asia·Oceania Region:

12:00 noon local time of the JAL offices of your membership registration 4 days prior to departure*1*2
[Domestic flights]
4 days prior to departure*1*2
(Deadline for application on through JAL website is 23:59 Hong Kong time, 4 days prior to departure*1)

• *1 Excluding the departure date
• *2 Deadlines will differ if a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday of the JAL offices of your membership registration falls within the 4 days prior to departure. Please apply for your awards to the JAL offices of your membership registration well in advance.

+For members in Europe·Middle East・Africa Region:

• *2 Deadlines will differ if a Saturday, Sunday, or U.K. Holiday falls within the 4 days prior to departure. Please apply for your awards to the JMB Center well in advance.

• ※JAL International Upgrade Awards are not available
• ※Waitlists are not permitted.
• ※Airport taxes, airport facility charges, security charges and such must be paid by member’s credit card.
• ※Open itineraries are not permitted. JMB DIAMOND Award Tickets will become invalid if you fail to change reservations to flights with available seats before departure.
• ※Reservation change is only possible to a JMB DIAMOND Award Ticket reservation even if regular award seats are available. JMB DIAMOND Award Tickets cannot be changed to regular award tickets and vice versa. Also the number of miles deducted for the JMB DIAMOND Award Tickets cannot be reinstated.
• ※Reservations for JMB DIAMOND Award Tickets and mileage processing must be completed in advance. You cannot make an application at the airport.

■The deadline for changing reservation

Deadline will be at least 4days before the new departure date of the flight sector or before the original departure date and time of the flight sector (whichever comes first) for Japan domestic routes (for example).
Deadline through JAL website will be 12:00 noon, 4 days prior to departure*1 for international flights.
*1 Los Angeles time for members in American Region, Hong Kong time for Asia・Oceania Region, U.K. time for Europe・Middle East・Africa Region.
The journey must be completed within the validity of the award tickets.

■The number of JMB DIAMOND members to use these tickets

Up to 5 members for the same itinerary (More than 5 members are not permitted to make applications.)
※Up to 4 members for the same itinerary in case of application of JAL Group domestic flights through JAL website

■Cancellation and mileage reinstatement

The mileage for the awards can only be reinstated if those awards are completely unused and by paying a half required mileage of JMB DIAMOND Award Tickets as the applicable fee. Mileage cannot be reinstated after the flight departure.
Cancellation and mileage reinstatement through JAL website will not be available.
